Dr Szabi Nagy is a consultant electrophysiologist, specialising in heart rhyhtm disorders.
He uses evidence based medicine (EBM) and up to date data to discuss and agree on an individual care plan that combines lifestyle changes with proven and new techniques and technologies.
He works full time as an NHS consultant, sharing his time between Worthing Hospital and the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

Dr Nagy trained in the South London area specialising in the advanced management of heart rhythm disorders. He offers comprehensive investigations (ECG, Holter monitoring, echocardiography, implantable monitoring), and treatments for heart rhythm disturbances, including ablation for atrial fibrillation (AF), atrial tachycardia, atrial flutter and supraventricular tachycardia (SVT).
He performs implantation of a wide range of cardiac devices for slow heart beat (bradycardia), heart block, heart failure, and the treatment of dangerous rapid heartbeat such as ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation and sudden cardiac death (SCD).
These devices include pacemakers, cardiac resynchronisation devices (CRT-P, CRT-D), implantable defibrillators (ICD) and devices for prolonged heart monitoring (implantable loop recorders - ILR).
He has specialist experience in helping people with autonomic disorders such as dysautonomia, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), vasovagal syncope (VVS - common faint) and inappropriate sinus tachycardia.
